The Eldorado Suites Hotel was built in 1914 on OK Street, overlooking Bisbee's notorious Brewery Gulch. Number twenty-seven on the historic register, the building was, and remains today, the most outstanding example of territorial architecture in town with its broad porches and stately arches – all original and authentic.
ACCOMMODATIONS & FRILLS While the building may be historic, all of the suites have been completely remodeled to include central heat and air conditioning. You won’t find those pesky window air conditioning units at the Eldorado. You also won’t find the standard two beds in a box type hotel room. All of our suites are 900 square foot, two bedroom condos, making them the perfect place to share with another couple or children.
What you will find is quality furnished condos with luxurious linens in each of the two bedrooms, a complete living room with cable television and a fully equipped, eat-in kitchen with full size appliances. The suites have the original claw foot tubs used in the building. They’ve been resurfaced for enjoying a shower or a long soak in the deep tubs. The Eldorado also boasts full balconies running the length of the hotel serving each suite. They are the perfect place to catch the afternoon sunset with a glass of wine. PRIVATE PARKING Bisbee’s streets were designed for miners and mules, which means parking can be difficult. Not at the Eldorado. The hotel has a private, secure parking lot for guests. It can accommodate nine cars on a first come – first served basis. Motorcycles always fit. DETAILS & RESERVATIONS In-room coffee, tea, bottled water and snacks plus free WiFi make checking morning email a breeze; however, you won’t find a telephone in your suite so bring your mobile phone. The elevator was left out of the original blueprints and so far, we haven’t added one – so if you need first floor accommodations, please book suites 2, 3 or 4. Suites 5, 6, 7 and 8 are on the second floor. If you like to be king of the hill, try the top floor for the best views from suites 9, 10, 11 and 12. When reserving a suite, please browse all of the available units online. After you find the one you like, go ahead and reserve it. We’ll send you a confirmation email as soon as we get it.
