ABOUT YOUR HOSTS
Thank you for considering the Eldorado Suites Hotel. We would like to thank you personally, so be sure to stop in and say hello. We’re the proprietors, Fiona and Bret Austin; we came from varied backgrounds prior to moving to Bisbee in 2005.
We met at a Starbucks in Kuwait where Fiona was teaching school and Bret was a defense contractor.
Fiona is originally from Glasgow, Scotland and has traveled, taught and lived in many countries. Most notably, she spent time traveling and working in Australia. While there, she worked for the Rotary Youth Exchange as a tour guide for students from all over the world, covering a large portion of the continent. Her travels have taken her from Scotland, covering the UK and across Europe, the Middle East, Australia and half of the US.
Bret grew up in South Dakota. After joining the Air Force he was stationed and has lived in Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Florida, Colorado, Minnesota and Arizona as well as, South Korea and Kuwait. Bret is also in the Air National Guard and has been a member of the Minnesota and currently the Arizona Air National Guard.
We really enjoy meeting our guests and hearing their stories. So if you have a good story, pull up a chair on the patio and tell us all about it.
